ABOUT

The Cadet Instructor Cadre (CIC) is a branch of the Canadian Forces whose members’ primary duty is the safety, supervision, administration and training of Royal Canadian Sea, Army, and Air Cadets. At over 100 years old and with more than 7500 members Canada-wide, we are the largest officer branch in the Canadian Forces.

The association is a registered society in BC with the primary aims:

a. To provide Cadet Instructors Cadre (CIC) personnel in British Columbia (BC) with social opportunities to meet, network, communicate, and share ideas;
b. To provide CIC personnel in BC with professional development opportunities not offered by the Regional Cadet Instructor School (Pacific);
c. To further the professional standing and esprit de corps of CIC personnel in BC;
d. To assist with the management and operation of the Pacific Region CIC Bursary and Kit Shop as required;
e. To make recommendations to the CIC Regional Advisory Council (RAC) and Commanding Officer, Regional Cadet Support Unit (Pacific), on issues that arise that are outside of the CIC BA BC’s control; and,
f. To undertake any other initiatives which benefit CIC personnel in BC.
